Leather Goods Manufacture is a detailed and comprehensive book, first published in 1939. The title’s reference to manufacture should not put off students today as production at the time the book was written was generally small scale so the techniques are very relevant to our time. Moseley’s book has become rare so this new printing, with enlarged text and spiral bound will be an invaluable resource. Neil MacGregor has written an excellent forward to this edition, setting the context in which Moseley’s book was written and its place as one of the most important teaching manuals along side The Leatherworking Handbook and W.A Attwater’s, Leathercraft.
