Please read these conditions carefully before using the leathercourses.co.uk website.
This section deals with conditions relating to the sale of courses by MacGregor and Michael under the name leathercourses.co.uk.
1. Course Booking & Confirmations
Course bookings made via our website, email, telephone, in person or post are deemed to constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions by all parties including course attendees. When you book a course from leathercourses.co.uk, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your booking and payment of your deposit. All bookings and purchases will be considered provisional until funds have cleared. A Booking Confirmation & Student Learning Contract will be emailed also.
2. Payment of courses
Bookings are made by paying a deposit at the time of booking by credit/debit card through our secure payment provider (Braintree) or by bank transfer.
The remaining balance of the course fee will need to be paid 56 days before the course start date. Payment for this will be taken by bank transfer.
An email will be sent with a ‘Payment Request’ detailing how to settle the final amount.
We accept the following payment cards:
Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Discover, Diners, Maestro, JCB.
3. Prices, Dates and Times
These are correct at time of going to press but may be subject to change without notice.
5. Cancellations and refund policy
If a student cancels a course place within 7 days of booking, they will receive a full refund. This refund will be issued using the same method of the original payment.
If a student cancels their course place within 2 months of the course start date they will receive a refund minus a 10% administration charge. This refund will be issued using the same method of the original payment.
Cancellations received less than 2 months from the course start date may receive a partial refund, at the discretion of MacGregor and Michael, provided that the course place can be filled by another student. If the course place cannot be filled then no refund will be issued.
Any refunds will be issued using the same method of the original payment..
*If a course needs to be cancelled by MacGregor and Michael for whatever reason, students will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
*Please note that MacGregor and Michael cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by the student for travel, accommodation or any other service. No additional compensation will be paid and course attendees are strongly advised to seek their own insurance.
6. Student Conduct
MacGregor and Michael reserves the right to refuse to accept individuals who have not conducted themselves with a reasonable standard of awareness and respect to the tutor and fellow students. If the course has been already booked, the course fee will be refunded.
MacGregor and Michael may document any courses by taking photos or videos. We will ask students’ permission before doing so. All the images taken by MacGregor and Michael during courses may be used for marketing purposes.

12. Delivery of book orders
Books will be sent by Royal Mail within 7 days of receipt of order. The customer will receive an email notification when their book order has been shipped.
13. Cancellations and refunds
Before a book is shipped the order can be cancelled and a full refund given. Once a book has been shipped an order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
15. Definitions of Key Words and Phrases
Leatherworkcourses, Leather courses, leathercourses.co.uk and other varitations are the names given to the leather work training courses provided by MacGregor & Michael.
